Ceiling Domes |
- The ceiling domes are
constructed combination of
materials i.e. wood, plaster
and fiberglass. Most domes
are paint grade shipped with
a factory white primer.
However, domes crafted using
solid hardwoods and hardwood
veneers are available.
- The ceiling domes do not
penetrate the roof
structure. The use of a
skylight above the dome can
add a dramatic effect to an
optional stained or etched
glass outline.
- The weight of a finished
dome varies with style:
Typical 12' dome weighs 350
- 500; Typical 8' dome
weighs 150 - 250 pounds.
- A period of four to five
weeks is required to
construct a dome. Delivery
is generally made six to
eight weeks from the time
the purchase order is
placed.
- The large domes (9' or
more) are typically shipped
in half sections. A company
representative will provide
the technical support
necessary for proper
installation.
